The proton is a subatomic particle, with a positive electric charge of +1 elementary charge and mass slightly less than that of a neutron.
Electrons:
The electron is a subatomic particle, with a negative elementary electric charge. Long time ago a scientist named John Joseph Thompson discovered this negative charged particles.
